What’s In The News:

From The Washington Examiner – Feb 4, 2019: Pot legalization activist turns sights on prostitution, ‘comes out’ as client

  • The longtime leader of the Marijuana Policy Project says that after helping legalize pot in 10 states, he’s decided to spearhead a national push to legalize prostitution.
  • Prostitution is against the law in all 50 states, with the exception of some Nevada counties.
  • Rob Kampia, a savvy political campaigner who grew the MPP from a low-profile nonprofit organization into a well-funded vehicle for designing state political campaigns, “came out” in an interview with the Washington Examiner as a someone who has paid for sex himself.
  • “It’s important, like the gay rights movement. … If everyone knows someone who is gay, maybe being gay shouldn’t be a hassle or a crime,” Kampia said. “With this, anyone who has been engaged in paid sex, on the provider or the client side, should speak up and out themselves. I just outed myself to a reporter for the first time here.”
  • Kampia said he paid for sex rarely, and that “the reason I admitted this to you right now is that it’s extremely hard to find professional men to admit to a reporter that they paid for sex, because usually their family or their girlfriend aren’t going to like to hear it.”
  • According to Kampia, an unmarried political libertarian who left MPP in 2017, many of the well-heeled donors who backed marijuana legalization also support Decriminalize Sex Work, a new national advocacy group that recently launched.
  • Decriminalize Sex Work currently has four staffers, including Kampia. The group’s communications director, comedian Kaytlin Bailey, said in an interview that she’s been a sex worker during two periods of her life, and she applauded Kampia for outing himself as a client of prostitutes.
  • “It’s so important to show people that these are not monsters. These are not crazy, creepy people who you would never want to be associated with,” she said. “Perfectly normal men purchase sex. … I can speak with authority.”
  • “Our goal is not to teach our allies not to be dumb,” Kampia said. “It is working with well-meaning legislators and activists on specific bills in specific states and winning. With marijuana, we have the playbook.”
  • When successfully pushing for state legalization of marijuana, MPP branded the effort in simple terms as a bid to “regulate marijuana like alcohol.” For prostitution, he intends to push the message of “making sex legal.”
  • “‘Making sex legal’ is a punchline and it’s actually more powerful than regulating marijuana like alcohol. It’s more powerful because about half of American adults have smoked pot, but almost 100 percent have had sex,” he said.
  • But Kampia, who favors both legal brothels and the legalization of independent-contractor sex work, faces strident opposition to his claim that legalization would improve sex worker well-being.
  • “I’m so sad I can hardly stand it right now,” said Lori Paul, spokeswoman for Breaking Free, a group that opposes prostitution, citing exploitation and violence against sex workers. “They don’t see the faces that come in here broken.”
  • “No woman really wants to do this,” Paul said. “This is something where she is marginalized and someone else is trying to screw her for their own pleasure, physically or financially.”

Hey girls! Thank you for the amazing advice you’ve given through the podcast.

I wanted to ask you a question about websites. Unfortunately, I purchased Squarespace for a year at a discount because I’m a student.

Since then I have changed the email on the account but I’m afraid that if I use it, it will become an issue in reference to my personal identity.

I hate that I didn’t build my own site first but now I feel stuck. Should I keep the site and try to make it work before the year is up or should I let it all go and start from scratch?

Via Email

Hey ladies, I’ve been binge listening to your podcast. Thank you for providing so much info. I’ve been camming for a few years and have only met a customer (long time regular) in person once (him and his wife paid $1500 for a night out at casino- nothing sexual happened and they paid for my own suite separate from theirs- we had a blast and plan to do it again). There are other customers who want to meet, but they are clingy/obsessive types and I fear their obsession would escalate.
Anyway, I’ve been doing research on becoming a companion on the side because camming is isolating.
My fears holding me back are somehow getting arrested or placing myself in dangerous situations. The thought of being alone with a stranger is terrifying. In my last relationship, I left because one day he physically abused me, took my phone and would not let me leave. If a boyfriend could do that; anyone can.
Sorry this is getting long. My point is that I’m hoping I can work with you ladies to connect me with trusted clients; and would like to know more about how that would work.
Thank you

What’s In The News:

From New York Times, Feb 9, 2019: How OnlyFans Changed Sex Work Forever

  • OnlyFans has put X-rated entertainment in the hands of its entertainers. Call it the paywall of porn.
  • Every day, hundreds of men pay women like Dannii Harwood to enact their sexual fantasies and boost their self-esteem. Sometimes her clothes come off. Sometimes she dresses up as a nurse or a dominatrix.
  • If a guy is a regular customer, she likely knows his birthday, the names of his children and his pets — even when to call after a surgical procedure.
  • He may pay her to help him achieve an orgasm, though she is not a prostitute. He may purchase erotic videos from her, though she is not a porn star.
  • Ms. Harwood is one of the top earners on OnlyFans, where subscribers pay models a fee, between $5 to $20 a month, to imagery too racy for Instagram. With that access, subscribers can also direct message and “tip” to get pictures or videos created on demand, according to their sexual tastes.
  • The most popular OnlyFans personality is Jem Wolfie, of Perth, Australia.
  • According to OnlyFans, she has 10,000 subscribers who pay $10 a month for access to a feed in which she shows off her Kardashianesque proportions, squatting in really tight leggings and squeezing her breasts together, strategically covering her nipples. It doesn’t go much further than that.
  • “Basically, OnlyFans is online go-go dancing,” said Matthew Camp, a 34-year-old model on the men’s side who broke into the business a decade ago.
  • With a G-string and a strobe light, he could make as much as $1,000 on a good night.
  • When Camp first signed up on onlyfans, weeks often went by without him posting a single picture or video. He didn’t show a full penetrative sex clip for the first nine months, yet he still regularly took home more than $10,000 a month.
  • “Tumblr was filled with the most extreme sexual experiences you could see,” he said. “And I think a lot of people were turned off by that. It’s not what they’re looking for. They want more intimate experiences. They want a boyfriend experience. They want to fantasize about someone that they want to have sex with and not feel disgusted by it.”
  • The company’s chief executive, Mr. Stokely is eager to take OnlyFans out of the pornography niche and make it a platform for all sorts of influencers and audiences.
  • One hurdle is that there is no iPhone app. The platform as it exists now likely runs afoul of Apple’s restrictions on “overtly sexual or pornographic material.” And even if Apple did allow an OnlyFans app, the fees — 30 percent — would certainly be a problem, Mr. Stokely said. He would have to pass along those expenses to performers.
  • Technical problems on OnlyFans also threaten its longevity and help explain why synonymous sites, such as JustForFans, have managed to siphon off considerable numbers of performers and revenue.
  • Still, performers who have been with OnlyFans for more than a year and earn at least $8,000 a month in subscription revenue, can’t muster serious complaints.

Hello ladies I’m a big & supporter of the show.

So I want to first start off with saying thank you for all the hard work you do to produce such a great show, not only for our community but in the regular world also. THANK YOU

Now for my question,

I’m a well established & successful traveling companion, so I am never in one city very long which makes life very exciting and for the most part, I do very well in the cities I travel too.

The city I live in is the capital yet for some reason so slow, so slow that the thought of not touring is a scary one. I know there is money to be made here but I can’t seem to figure it out.

In the next year I will be focusing on my domination and fetish side, which I think will help because it’s not a common thing in this industry.

There are hardly any ladies that tour my home base, and there are only a couple of ladies that live/work here that are reputable.

In the next 2 years I want to slow for only a few years(family reasons) but I need help on how I become the “go to lady” for the gentleman that live and visit here.

I think about this all the time, so now I’m reaching out for advice.

Thank you for your time I can’t wait to hear back from you.

XOXO

Hi Ladies, I love your podcast!

A new fav for me. I’ve been binging. I am currently saving for a car so I would have to Uber or Lyft to an appointment. I want to make sure I’m safe. I would like to be as discreet as possible so I don’t want to really advertise on Ig or anything and I know on the podcast you offer this exclusivity. I’m a Realtor and single mom so that’s why I don’t want to advertise largely

I have a few questions:

  1. When you screen are you screening for stds and background check and are checkbooks being screened too? Do I get myself screened? Do me and the client exchange this information upon setting up an appointment? Does this cost? And, if so how much?
  2. I want to be added to the directory list. How does getting started work?
  3. Are you ladies running a escort service or just giving tips? I’m assuming your running a business if you can match ladies with clients but idk
  4. Will I be successful not advertising?
  5. Is the number you give on the podcast how to contact you personally?
  6. I believe it was Episode 33 where there was a directory just for Ladies in our line of work. I couldn’t catch the spelling. Does it cost to advertise?

I do lashes & Real Estate

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions 😘

From NBC’s 11alive.com – Feb 1, 2019: Super Bowl sex trafficking sting now up to 40 arrests in Atlanta

  • Investigators said Friday 40 people have now been arrested for sex trafficking in the metro Atlanta area as part of crackdown during Super Bowl week.
  • Four people have been recovered: two adults and two juveniles, Homeland Security spokesperson Brian Cox said.
  • With the Super Bowl in town, DHS is leading the human trafficking investigation to help recover more people affected by the crime.
  • Organizations are also stepping in to fight back against sex trafficking. Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution spent the weekend passing out fliers with the names and photos of 16 girls that are missing.
  • “Atlanta is one of the top cities for sex trafficking of children in the United States,” the group’s website said. “With the Super Bowl coming in February 2019, we need your help to rescue these missing kids.”
  • According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, 18 year old, Jesse Brian Quintanilla has been arrested for unlawful interference with child custody after he left with a 16-year-old girl seen in the posters. There is no indication, at this point, that she was involved in any form of human trafficking.
  • Airports and hotels are vulnerable spots for human trafficking. Delta Air Lines trains its employees to spot signs and to report their findings to a national hotline that deals with human trafficking.
  • “It is not our role to be law enforcement,” Kimberly Duran of Delta explained. “But we can make those observations and share anything that needs to be reported.”

Hey Vivian and Chantel I wanna just say you guys have been very fundamental in me becoming a companion. I have began my process currently building my website, booked a professional photoshoot and currently establishing my brand, and building infrastructure before launching (hopefully March). Without your guys feedback on your podcast (I’m a proud supporter on patreon) it has given be sooooooooooo much help.

As a girl who studied business administration I relate so much to how you approach this business.  I had to take out some old university books to help with my foundation but there are still a lot of things newbies won’t know, and you have assisted with that. I also have been reading books from authors such Amanda Brooks (The Internet Escort’s Handbook series), and that has also assisted me.

As an ebony companion there are things honestly only and fellow ebony companion could answer. Here are my questions:

  1. When you are with a provider how do you deal with you lancome teint idole ultra all over sheets?
  2. When your staying over night how do you deal with your hair?
  3. I have dreadlocks but I intend to cover ,based on the image/brand i want portray I don’t think my market would like it? What’s your opinion on the hair
  4. After you receive the information from screening what are tips you guys recommend in processing this data?

Girls please just continue your hard work …. You guys are very inspiring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps … i know you guys speak about the hair and screening but i didn’t get the answers I was looking for that why i decided to message and ask

Salut!
I hope you had a wonderful start into the new year!
I’m writing because I’ve got one quick etiquette question and I’ll be very thankful if you’d got the time to answer it.
A college of mine introduced me to one of her regular friends, they know each other for 15yrs.
She arranged our meeting and everything was very nice.

He now wants to see me again.
So my question is if I should ask/tell the lady who introduced us?

Thank you for your wonderful podcast and all the work you do!

What’s in the News:

From New York Post, Dec 25, 2018: ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ duo allegedly hunted down sex workers to beat and rob

  • A ruthless Russian Bonnie and Clyde targeted Manhattan sex workers in a string of brutal robberies, court papers say.
  • Alexander Popenkov, who is trained as an MMA fighter, and his wife, Maryana Kayumova, both 25, trolled online sex ads for victims before setting up phony appointments, documents state.
  • The suspects “worked together to achieve planned and premeditated attacks on victims they know will likely be easy targets and vulnerable,” said Assistant DA Danbee Kim.
  • Prosecutors say the duo savagely beat and robbed at least eight women, most of whom are Russian immigrants.
  • The victims were hesitant to come forward, given their line of work and immigration status, Danbee said.
  • On Sept. 16, the couple targeted two women, according to court papers.
  • Popenkov set up a 7:30 p.m. “date” with a 27-year-old sex worker at her apartment on East 62nd Street near Second Avenue, the criminal complaint states.
  • Court papers say the moment the victim opened her door, he slugged her in the face and dragged her to the back of her apartment.
  • He then held the woman down while his wife ransacked the pad, swiping a phone, cash, credit cards and keys, court papers charge.
  • Just 40 minutes later, the pair allegedly struck again, attacking a woman in a similar manner on East 39th Street near Park Avenue. When the victim opened her door, Popenkov punched her in the face, grabbed her by the neck and then buzzed his wife in, authorities say.
  • The suspects took off with a wad of cash and the victim’s phone, leaving her with a smashed and bleeding face, according to court records.
  • ”One of the two victims had a broken orbital socket and nose, which required surgery afterwards,” Danbee stated.
  • Prosecutors say they have video of an attack on a third woman and that a fourth victim “described being beaten so badly that she urinated herself.”
  • The suspects were arrested on charges including burglary and robbery and released on $35,000 bond each.
  • Defense lawyer Todd Spodek said Popenkov works as a personal trainer and is trying to get permanent residency.
  • “His whole life is on the line here. He’s not going to do anything to risk it,” he told the judge when Danbee had asked to hike the defendants’ bail to $500,000.
  • Kayumova’s lawyer, insisted that his client hadn’t tampered with witnesses and wasn’t a flight risk. He added that she works full-time at a hair salon.
  • The judge ruled against increasing the duo’s bail. Probably because the victims were adult entertainers
  • Prosecutors said their investigation is ongoing. If convicted, the defendants each face up to 25 years in prison.

What’s In The News:

From GuestofaGuest.com – Jan 18, 2019: Upper East Side Restaurant Nello Bans Single Women From Eating At The Bar

  • This article was written about a first hand experience by jet-setting creative executive, Clementine Crawford.
  • “I perched at my favourite seat at the bar and started to respond to all the emails that had arrived on the flight over,” she explains. “A waiter approached – a familiar face, but oddly hesitant on this occasion. He advised – with evident embarrassment – that I was no longer permitted to eat at my usual spot and that I must now sit down at a table.”
  • When she returned a few days later, she was told to move yet again. Then, from her new table, she watched as a fellow regular – a male one, that is – was served his meal without incident while perched on a stool at the bar. After speaking up, Crawford learned “that the owner had ordered a crackdown on hookers” and assumed management believed “upscale escorts working the bar lowered the tone of the place and would be less obvious if escorted behind a table.”
  • She spoke to an owner, explained that she had been misidentified, and he responded “that he could run his business as he pleased, and that [she] was no longer welcome to eat at the bar, only at a table.”
  • The restaurant in question was Nello, a Madison Avenue eatery frequented by the likes of Beyoncé and Sarah Jessica Parker.
  • Now, Nello should also be known as a place that discriminates against women – especially the empowered, out-on-her-own, pays-her-own-bill woman. The woman many men use as an example to “prove” that sexism isn’t real, because, after all, there are now female CEOs in the world!!! Crawford put it best when she wrote, “All these years we have been battling for a room of one’s own; and, little did we know it, but we are still fighting for a seat at the table (or bar, apparently).”
  • Of course, there are layers of shittiness to unpack here. It’s not just the fact that at this so-called “sophisticated” establishment, all unaccompanied, attractive women are unquestionably considered sex workers, it’s also the fact that there’s a “sex worker seating policy” in the first place. Shouldn’t a professional woman (in any field?) who can afford her meal be allowed to eat where she pleases?
  • The answer is yes – and it most definitely shouldn’t be at NELLO
  • You can follow Clementine on instagram where she posted about it and read some of the ignorant comments from fellow women! Of course there she had some supporters too, but it always shocks us when women argue against their own interests! Her instagram is @clementineteniqua

Hello, Vivian

I first of all want to say that I enjoy your podcast. I have listened to every episode and I am thoroughly entertained by both you and Chantel’s energy.

I remember in episode 36 you spoke on being cock blocked by a wealthy man’s wife during a freestyle gone wrong at a restaurant and you mentioned having ‘vanilla cards’. I am a current fitness instructor and teach regularly in between seeing clients. Would you suggest using my fitness platform as a ‘vanilla’ card to slip to potential clients when freestyling? Business cards are a must in certain situations, however potential clients would never accept a business card that is not discrete and deflecting from your elusive profession. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ladies,

I’m interested in becoming a high end companion in the business. I currently work a corporate job, but after listening to your podcast I’m interested in supplementing my income by doing this type of work. In some of the earlier episodes you guys mentioned an ebook for a ‘how to guide’, however i wasn’t able to find it.

  1. Do I need to make a website if this is a part time job?
  2. How can I protect my identity?

3.What websites should I start on, or do i need to meet them in person?

Thank you so much,

Top 3 Things Gentlemen Should Focus On:

  1. Research your companion thoroughly before contacting her – In 2019 you can no longer use the excuse of not knowing if your companion is real, as a cop out from screening or giving deposits. Practically all reputable companions have a strong online presence – their websites, twitter, instagram, and some sell content and other services via onlyfans, niteflirt, snapchat, fancentro, etc. Be proactive the same way you would when researching a vacation destination. You want to make sure you have a wonderful time when you’re on vacation, so you do extensive research on the area, hotels, restaurants, night life, etc. You should have that same energy when you’re looking for a companion. When you find a companion you’re smitten with, please fight the urge to quickly text or email her the usual “available now?” Instead head over to google and type in her name. Pay attention to the things that pop up. We will tell you now that if she doesn’t at least have an ACTIVE twitter account AND a website, she’s probably not the one. If she has other social media platforms, even better. After you’ve identified that she’s the real deal and the one you want to meet, don’t stop there. Head over to her website and read it thoroughly to make sure her policies and rates work for you. Then and only then should you contact her IN THE WAY SHE HAS ASKED YOU TO ON HER WEBSITE, and you must give her everything she has asked for in ONE email (some ladies have online forms which has everything she needs). It’s there to make your life easier. For some reason guys would rather email than use the form which creates extra work for everyone. If you must email her, please don’t drag it out and make her pull teeth to get the information she needs out of you. If you follow this simple advice, you will find yourself in the company of some of the best women in this industry.
  2. Pre-booking in advance – and if you do it with a deposit, even better. In 2019 we are not doing last minute appointments because quality ladies hate rushing and we need time to prepare for you so that you can have the best experience from us. Think and plan ahead. We are not all sitting around in lingerie at home waiting for you to call us 30 minutes before your session. We all have and live full lives so you MUST book at least 4 hours in advance, and to be honest, the more time you give us, the better. 24-48 hours is actually better. We know of many men (who are actual clients of ours and our friends), that book out weeks in advance with a deposit. They are some of the happiest men in this industry. Join them in a life of bliss by taking the time to pre-book in advance.
  3. Experimenting with different date ideas – As of this episode, you have 43 date ideas from me and we even dedicated and an entire episode (35) to date ideas, where we gave you 7 additional fun things to do with your companion. Gentlemen, we know that some of you are pressed for time and can only spend an hour or two with your companion. But if you can, you should try at least once to book a lady for a dinner date or overnight and actually go out and do something fun. Don’t even worry if you don’t know what to do, because your companion has a ton of ideas, I assure you. Try something new, think outside the box, your experience will be dramatically elevated. Also a side note, get your ATF a gift every now and then to show how much you value her efforts to bring you wonderful experiences. I guarantee you that she will want to ravish you right there on the spot! If you don’t know what to get her, simply ask. Or look on her website. Most ladies have wishlists. We hope your dating life in 2019 is super spectacular!

What’s In The News:

From USA Today, Nov 17, 2018: Swiss authorities refuse to close brothel, say it ‘fulfills social need’

  • In Geneva, Switzerland, local newspaper reported recently, that a local business was disturbing the peace of a handful of residents in a scenic lakeside community of about 14,000 people.
  • The object of the dispute is a local brothel, located in the town’s historic center, just a few steps away from their City Hall. Several residents who live in the brothel’s vicinity recently wrote a letter to the city officials, complaining about the sights and sounds coming from the facility, and asking authorities to shut it down.
  • “Almost every day, the women stand naked by the windows,” the neighbors wrote, adding that “the ladies wait for their customers and start loud music as soon as they arrive.”
  • But municipal officials responded that the brothel will be allowed to operate because of the valuable service it provides. “This establishment has a right to exist, as it fulfills the social need of the population,” authorities wrote in a letter to the complainants.
  • They added that the disturbances have a “neighborly character” and are accidental rather than intentional.
  • This response has sparked swift reactions in the local media. While some pointed out that a brothel shouldn’t be located in a residential area, others applauded the municipal decision. “These people watch their neighbors through the window and then complain about what they see?” a reader commented in the local newspaper.  “They want to forbid whatever action doesn’t meet their moral standards,” he added.
  • Another reader proposed a compromise for a peaceful coexistence in the neighborhood, suggesting the brothel should “invite the neighbors over. Then nobody will complain.”
  • The municipality’s refusal to shut down the brothel reflects the liberal attitude the Swiss have toward sex workers. Prostitution is legal in this country of 8.5 million people, and regarded as a regular service industry that falls under the category of “economic freedom.”
  • In Switzerland, the sex industry is heavily regulated to prevent pimping, human trafficking and ties with criminal networks. Prostitutes must register with their city authorities, get regular health checks, pay income tax, make Social Security contributions, and generally comply with the law.
  • “There‘s no rule that sex clubs must be located on the outskirts or in industrial zones, a brothel has been in this downtown location for over 30 years. Complaints have been very rare”, A spokesman for the city’s municipal authorities told USA TODAY.
  • In Geneva, sex workers have formed a union that works with city authorities to improve their work conditions and earning potential. In Zurich, taxpayer —sponsored drive-in “sex boxes” have provided a safe and discreet environment for sex workers.
  • And a few years ago, dozens of brothels in the city of Lugano made news when they started training prostitutes to use defibrillators after several clients suffered heart attacks.
  • Meanwhile, the manager of the brothel in question, said he is instructing his staff to be more discreet and promises to mask the building’s windows, so no offensive sights permeate the neighborhood.

Thanks to your amazing podcast I have recently been inspired to make the leap from sugaring to escorting. Over the past several weeks I have had a professional photo shoot, built a website, and set up my business! Without your podcast I would never have imagined that I could be part of such an exciting world.

I have become a patreon subscriber to the podcast of course, and I encourage all my clients to listen and donate.

I would love to be included in your little black book, would you mind telling me what information you require?

On an unrelated note, last week you read my friend Sabrina’s email on the show and I screamed out loud with excitement! Sabrina has been giving me incredibly helpful feedback as I build my brand and she was the one who initially recommended I listed to TSEG. Your podcast has been instrumental in helping me realize that there are far better gentlemen out there than the splenda daddies on SA.

I can’t wait to hear more from you lovelies in 2019!

Thank you so much again

Subject: Rejected by Slixa because I “appeared” too young

Hi ladies,

I’ve been a loyal listener for the show and just recently started advertising myself as an escort.

I’m 21 years old and was required to submit age verification to Slixa. After I submitted my verification, I was told that my account is deleted because “even though you are able to provide age verification, you simply *appear* too young and your profile is not in keeping with the tone we want to convey on the Slixa website.”

I am frustrated and disappointed because I felt like this is a remark about me being youthful looking and *Asian*.  Because one of the stereotypes of Asians is that they look young. This is my website  with my photos.

Should I forget about Slixa or try create another account with makeup making me look old?

Keep up the good work!

3 Things To Stop Worrying About In 2019:

  1. Screening – We (along with practically every companion) have probably mentioned this about a million times now. Screening is a GOOD thing for both parties. Ladies that screen show you that they are selective about who they chose to spend their time with. Quality ladies screen, your session is more relaxed because the lady feels comfortable. Ladies that don’t screen are probably cops or plan on robbing you and having their pimp beat you up. Ladies that don’t screen are also probably desperate. Think about it, which lady would you want to see? We’ve mentioned several articles where police officers do stings and they arrest several men and publicize their real identity for the world to see, along with their mug shot! So your real world information that you were so afraid to give out will definitely get out there an NOT in a good way. Believe us when we say that companions have no ill intent for the private information you share with us. We just want to make sure that you are who you say you are and are someone we would like to meet. All we are doing is researching your information for our safety (and yours) so please stop giving us a hard time in 2019!
  2. A Menu – This is going to sound like a broken record but sex for money in the united states is illegal! That means that in 2019, you cannot email or call up a lady asking her for the sexual services she provides, or if she provides xyz services. You will get ignored, blacklisted, and hung up on. No one one has time to risk their livelihood because you’re looking for illegal services. You should go into your date just like you would in the vanilla world, the only difference is that if you treat us well, you won’t be disappointed. But as we’ve said before, if you must have specific services performed during your session, take a trip to nevada and visit one of the brothels where prostitution is legal. Leave us companions alone because we would rather spend our time with gentlemen that are interested in an authentic experience, not one limited to a menu!
  3. Deposits – this was a controversial topic in 2018 because several men got duped by a particular companion, where she ran off with their deposits. Including a client of ours who we interviewed on episode 25. Gentlemen, the reason why we now require deposits is due to many guys canceling last minute and we’re left holding the bag. We’ve heard too many stories of ladies visiting cities because guys begged them to come there and when they arrived, crickets! They never heard from the guys again! This is a no no in 2019. There are expenses we need to take into account especially when we’re touring. Flights cost money, hotels cost money, not to mention our time! Why would we visit any city if we didn’t have guaranteed and confirmed sessions waiting for us? Even ladies that are local and work out of hotels, they are not going to get an incall just for you, so you could cancel last minute. Now the lady is out of about $200! How would you like it if someone did that to you? We also have cancelation fees, just like mainstream businesses do. I have cancelation fees and I know Vivian does, as do many other companions. Do not book a session unless you know for sure that you are going to follow through, otherwise you would need to pay a cancelation fee. And if you think that you can get away with not paying it, think again! You would be blacklisted to the moon and NO QUALITY LADY will see you, except the cops that don’t screen. So good luck in jail and explaining to your wife that you ended up there because you refused to pay your reputable companion her cancelation fee. I know this might seem harsh but the point of this world existing is for companions and gentlemen to spend time enjoying each other and living life in a spectacularly thrilling way. That becomes hard to do when the gentlemen make it difficult for ladies to provide that experience. So gentlemen, do better and you will receive the best experience and treatment. We guarantee it!

Top 3 Things To Focus On In 2019

On the last episode the ladies told you what not to worry about, so this episode they give tips on what to focus on. Drop the negativity and let’s prosper!

What’s In The News:

From Reason.com, Dec 21, 2018: Congress Ramps Up War on Sex Workers and Their Customers With Secret Votes on Four New ‘Protection’ Laws

  • Congress is now “strengthening federal efforts” to be tough on sex buyers, based on the false idea that customers of consenting adult sex workers drive demand for minors
  • All state and local cops, prosecutors, and judges are to be trained on “best practices for prosecuting buyers” of sex and how to use asset forfeiture in these cases.
  • A federal working group on the study of sex-buyer arrests will also be created.
  • In addition, Congress “clarifies that commercial sexual exploitation is a form of gender-based violence,” whatever that means.
  • Meanwhile, in the Senate, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was using the process to usher through four bills at the intersection of law enforcement, human rights, bureaucracy building, and foreign diplomacy. In addition to the Frederick Douglass Act, the following bills also passed the Senate by unanimous consent:
  • The Abolish Human Trafficking Act (S. 1311)
  • The Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2017 (S. 1312)
  • The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (S. 1862)
  • The chambers are now resolving differences on all three before sending them to President Donald Trump for signing. The total package includes a mixed bag of policies and funding priorities.
  • Tucked in some tiny sections are significant changes, some that go way beyond human trafficking. For instance, a section of S. 1311 would allow state law enforcement to use secret wiretaps on sex workers and their customers.
  • Another “amends the federal criminal code to authorize the Department of Justice (DOJ) to bring a civil action to stop or prevent criminal offenses related to suspected forced labor, sex trafficking, or sexual abuse.” This would give the DOJ more leeway to preemptively shut down businesses while building a criminal case.
  • They set aside more money for Customs and Border Protection “to expand outreach and live on-site anti-trafficking training for airport and airline personnel”—efforts that have so far yielded a host of high-profile stories about profiling interracial families and not a single confirmed story involving actual sex traffickers.
  • I know this all sounds like more bullshit and is hella depressing but one good thing came out of this whole debacle.
  • For nearly two decades, the feds have been leading and supporting anti-human-trafficking efforts with little accounting for the money and time spent or the results. Now, Congress is instructing DOJ to report on the methodology it uses “to assess the prevalence of human trafficking.” In addition, federal crime reports are instructed to start measuring instances of child-labor violations, assisting or promoting prostitution arrests, and solicitation for commercial sex arrests.
  • Congress also tells the government-funded National Center for Missing and Exploited Children “to make publicly available the annual report on missing children and the incidence of attempted child abductions.”
  • And it asks for more accountability from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) about trafficking-related investigations. HSI is involved in all sorts of prostitution stings around America, especially ones involving Asian massage parlors.
  • For at least a decade, lawmakers have made a big deal about introducing, supporting, and passing bills related to sex trafficking. Interestingly, there was little fanfare from folks in Congress about the passage of these measures. It seems that when these efforts aren’t full of sex panic and high-profile targets like Backpage, there’s little glory in claiming credit for them.

Message Body:

I was listening to the most recent episode with your story about the sugar daddy and was wondering if you’d be able to list the qualifying questions to ask men when I’m freestyling in the future.

I’m actually originally from Florida and have been in DC for over a year now and this podcast helped me get into the business seriously. So for that I thank you!

My website is currently being done by PS group and should be done in the new year. I hope this message finds you well and thank you in advance for any info you can provide

Hi Vivian!

I hope you are doing well. I just listened to podcast 36 and had a question for you specifically. I am rebranding for 2019 (which is why I have delayed joining the Little Black Book) and I would love to order business cards to take with me when I go out. Many ladies have mentioned business cards before, but none have really stated what they actually include on their cards. Would you mind giving me advice on what should be on a companion business card, or would you mind showing me what yours looks like?

Thank you so much

Top 3 Things To Focus On:

On the last episode, we gave you 3 things to stop worrying about in 2019. So we thought for this episode we should also give you things that you SHOULD be focusing on in 2019 to grow your business and thrive.

  1. Marketing Yourself & Brand – In 2019 we all need to be reminded that without paying clients you won’t make any money, which means you won’t be successful! Clients need to know you exist or you won’t get any bookings. So we want you to sit down and really strategize on how you plan on marketing yourself to the clients you want in 2019, keeping in mind that consistency is key! Your mission every single day is to do things that put money in your pocket! Read marketing books and blogs if you have to. Pay attention to how the successful girls in your area market themselves and make sure you do right by yourself by putting 100% into your marketing efforts. So before you tweet something, or post something on instagram or snapchat, or do anything period. Ask yourself “is this going to attract the clients I want to meet?” We suggest that you read the book “The One Thing” to help you with staying on task. And that also leads us to remind you to READ EVERY DAY! Blogs, news articles, books. For those who rather listen to a book, amazon has audible which is a monthly membership. Amazon also has a kindle membership where you can read unlimited e-books for a low monthly fee. Treat your business like a business and YOU are the CEO!
  2. Your existing clients – We’ve mentioned a few times on the show that it is a lot cheaper and easier to retain existing clients than it is to market to get new ones. Regulars are the gifts that keep on giving. All the successful companions today won’t be where they are without their wonderful regulars. So make sure you treat them like gold, especially if they are booking multiple hours with you. Be thoughtful and treat them like they are special because they are. You want them leaving your presence feeling wonderful, like they are on cloud nine EVERY TIME THEY SEE YOU. This is THE key to becoming a successful companion. If you ignore this advice, you’re going to be one of those girls who constantly bitch on twitter about how slow everything is. Do be that girl!
  3. Saving (To Invest) – Most ladies (both in and out of the companion business) spend EVERYTHING they make. Then when the unavoidable emergency happens, they have no safety nest and are forced to use a credit card which charges ridiculously high interest rates and they end up digging themselves into the rabbit hole of debt and everything feels hopeless. According to CNBC, 1 in 3 Americans have less than $5,000 saved for retirement, and 21% of Americans have NOTHING saved at all! Let’s not become a part of this statistic. If you feel like you have a ton of debt and this all seems overwhelming to you, it’s ok because you can start with baby steps. The first thing you need to do is save $1,000 for emergency. This is a very attainable number so just start TODAY slowly stash away money until you reach $1,000. After this, you should COMMIT to saving 10% of everything you make while simultaneously chipping away at your debt. Start with the one with the highest interest rate. You should also track your earnings and your spending. The app Mint is great for tracking your spending. It gives you daily and monthly snap shots of your spending, and even gives you suggestions on how you can save on specific bills. We highly recommend this because if you don’t even know how much you’re spending every month, how are you going to know how to stop the bleeding? Bleeding out money every month is no fun and can get depressing so take charge of your finances. Our sponsor, Companion Tax offers financial planning services so feel free to contact them if you rather have outside help to get the ball rolling. You can visit them at companiontax.com and use the code TSEG2018 for a free consultation. Most wealthy people spend less than they make, they pay attention to where their money goes when it is spent, they save, and they invest their money. There’s no reason why we can’t all do this and thrive as a community. I’m sure we all know that the people with the money are the ones that control the world. Imagine if the adult entertainment industry actually had lobbyists, like all other industries. We would have much more control over the current laws than we have now. Think of the bigger picture. And if you can’t do that for some reason, ask yourself, do you want to HAVE to work until you die? If the answer is no, then take the first step to financial independence by taking charge of your finances. We are actually going to be interviewing a now retired companion who used the money she earned as an adult entertainer to invest and set her up for life where she no longer has to work. Ask yourself, do you want to live a life by default or a life YOU DESIGNED?

Episode 40: 3 Things To Stop Worrying About In 2019

3 Things To Stop Worrying About In 2019

We’ve all heard the sayings “new year, new me” and “out with the old, in with the new”, so for 2019 we are ditching those tired mantras! Instead  of completely reinventing yourself the ladies give you the top 3 things to stop worrying about and becoming a more successful companion.

Date Idea:

A lovely gentleman takes Chantel, Vivian, and Valencia on a romantic fun getaway to Cabo, where the ladies can frolic with their natural hair.

What’s In The News:

From Huffington Post, Nov 29, 2018: Nobody Would Hire Me Because I Was A Sex Worker. So I Started My Own Company. Written by former Domme Amy Boyajian

  • When people ask me how I got into sex work, I say it just happened. To be honest, sex work scared the shit out of me.
  • I’d love to say I donned my latex body suit in the name of sexual freedom, feminism or just generally being a badass. The fact is, I entered my career as a dominatrix with sheer terror.
  • I do have a lot of privileges in this society (I’m white, cisgendered, able-bodied, etc.), but I was finding it hard to hold down a job because of my immigrant status and mental health. I was living paycheck to paycheck, in a windowless room far off the L train in Brooklyn. My panic attacks came as often as the rats in my kitchen (frequently).
  • My life was vibrant with queer parties and provocative art projects, but it was lacking purpose and direction. Sex work gave me that direction. In fact, it changed my entire life
  • I couldn’t fathom the roadblocks sex work would create in my future, but I was finally able to free myself from the anxiety of my credit card getting declined while trying to buy food
  • After a few years, I experienced sex worker burnout, a term used to describe the emotional and physical exhaustion and stress from overwork in the sex industry. The job itself was difficult at times, but it wasn’t necessarily the work or the clients that left me feeling this way. The feelings of isolation and loneliness from how I was perceived and treated by others really got to me.
  • I became an almost unreal character to other people. To them, my job defined who I was, and I didn’t feel respected as an individual. I was either perceived as dumb for using my body to make money, immoral for having such a profession, or a novelty, like a clown at a party.
  • I started to browse hiring websites to look for a job that could help me get out. It was finally when I experienced a horrific act of sexual violence by a police officer, that I called it quits completely.
  • I started looking for a new job to refocus my life and my finances. But no matter where I applied, even at “feminist” sex stores or progressive establishments, I was rejected. No matter how I arranged my resume, highlighting my business degree or more than eight years of management experience, whorephobia followed me.
  • I had friends who guaranteed me I could get a job at their place of employment, only for them to come back later saying their manager saw my previous job as a “liability.” When I did get an interview, I quickly realized my interviewers simply didn’t understand what my previous work was. A gasp came from a person interviewing me as I explained what a dominatrix is, while another simply ended the conversation on the spot. I found it infuriating that in a society that constantly tells sex workers they need to get a “real” job, nobody would actually give me a chance.
  • My boyfriend encouraged me to examine what would truly make me happy and motivated.
  • Together we created Wild Flower, which merged a space for sexual learning with resources and products to support that within an inclusive environment.
  • It seemed overwhelming at first. But with a few hundred dollars, hours spent creating educational videos, a website, and a passion to help others, Wild Flower emerged and flourished. It has grown to not only support my boyfriend and I financially, but also to reflect the essence of who I am and what I see as the purpose of my life.
  • My situation is not typical. Many sex workers, especially those who are transgender and/or people of color, are subject to even worse discrimination and treatment if they chose to leave the industry. As a society, we’re obsessed with sex workers, yet we don’t treat them as humans. We hijack their looks, use their services and imitate their work, yet don’t give them the respect they deserve. We need to do better.

Subject: Prepay

Ladies, I was wondering something.  If a client prepaid for a date in full prior to the date do you think it would be considered less illegal since no money changed hands at the time of the date.  I am all about prepaying to someone I trust. It would just seem more natural. The companion wouldn’t have to worry getting stiffed or feel the need to count the cash.  Hopefully I will see Chantel again and would prefer prepayment. You might want to check with one of your legal beagle clients.

How To Stop Worrying In The New Year:

  1. Your Competitors – don’t get us wrong, you can watch what they’re doing, but NEVER let it rattle you. If they are priced lower, you shouldn’t care. If they are growing and doing well, you shouldn’t care either, nor should you be scared. It’s not worth your time to worry about ladies supposedly stealing your clients, as tempting as it is, NOT! You should focus and trust your ability to market and sell yourself. In the end that will help you overcome anything. The amateur mindset is that “oh there are too many girls in my area!”. That could not be further from the truth! If you notice, every time you see a McDonalds, there’s usually a burger king or wendy’s next to it. Wendy’s and Burger king basically follow mcdonald’s all over the globe and they know that they don’t have to put McDonald’s out of business, but people change their minds and sometimes want something different to eat. The same goes for our business, even your bonafide regular will want to spend time with another companion every now and then, and vice versa, and that is completely ok! In business it is widely preached that you should study the successful and do what they are doing or at least emulate it, because it will never be exactly what they’re doing. Look at their marketing techniques, platforms, etc. Also, just because someone is priced lower than you doesn’t mean you need to undercut them. In fact you should be doing the complete opposite. If you’re competing on price, you are on the race to the bottom of the barrel. What you should be competing on is VALUE! Value is the reason why a wealthy man chooses to shop at armani instead of men’s wearhouse. So you should be studying the top tier ladies in your market and see how you can be on their level or as close to it as possible. Another perfect example is Apple; Apple is the reason why we are all walking around with $1,000 phones today. When they came out with their high priced phones, all of their competitors followed suit. Which leads me to another point, don’t worry about people copying you (as long as they are not straight up stealing your actual photos like Ms. Monet). When people are copying you, you should be excited. Because #1 it shows that your marketing and product is perceived as excellent. No one copies someone that they don’t admire and want to be like. #2 it also means that they will always be one step behind. You just stay focused on being innovative and creating better ways to sell and market yourself to your ideal clients. They can never beat you by copying you. The only way a person can “beat” you is if they make your product better in value. Focus on addressing the needs and concerns of your ideal clients and you will never lose. No more whining and complaining on Twitter, you are in charge of your life so act like it!
  2. Failure – There are so many ladies that don’t even get started because they’re too busy worried about having everything just right. They ask all the questions and get all the answers but fall into what is usually referred to in the business world as “Paralysis By Analysis”. This is basically when someone is so consumed with analyzing all the steps to get started in a venture, that they are literally paralyzed and cannot make the decision to get started. Ladies, all you need is to get some professional looking photos done, get your social media set up, get a website (takenbystorm.biz has great rates for newbies), and focus on selling/marketing. It’s not rocket science. As a matter of fact one of the reasons we are writing the e-book (How to get started as an escort) is so that no one has the excuse for why they haven’t gotten started. I promise you, that you can do this on your own. You just need get educated and get out there! Just keep this in mind: focus only on activities that make you money! Failure is where the wisdom comes from because it forces you to learn and be better. All the greats failed before they became successful: J.K Rowling, Oprah, even President Trump believe it or not. The one thing all these people have in common is that they kept going even after they failed many times, and learned from their mistakes.
  3. Criticism – Know this: the more successful you are, the more criticism you will receive. I mean we have critics of the show but I told Chantel from day one that we should expect them the more popular the show guests. People you don’t know will be mad at you and you should know that it has NOTHING to do with you. Get used to it, EXPECT it and it won’t phase you. And with social media as popular as it is, it has awakened a huge group widely known as trolls. Don’t feed them. Stay focused on your actual clients, your friends, family, etc. Stay focused on things that put money in your pockets. Everything else, IGNORE! Because if you get offended over every little comment, you won’t make it in LIFE! We know a lady like this and it is very sad to watch actually, but of course we stay the hell away from negativity so we wish her the best of luck!
